Video on Demand via Live Writer

First of all, I am writing this blog via a new beta called Windows Live Writer. This program is awesome! It allows me to create WSIWYG blog posts with a "word like" application (WYSIWYG - What You See Is What You Get).

I am also watching an episode of How I Met Your Mother on CBS' Video on Demand service. That is pretty cool - I don't watch commercials when I watch TV recorded on my Media Center PC. But, I would watch (or suffer through) commercials if I could watch the content anytime.

Pressing the "Windows Live Pearl"

So I was using www.live.com to do my searching today thinking to myself that I should really blog another entry. Then I thought, wow - it would be really nice to have a quick link from my Live homepage to my live space.

I then had one of those "oh I hope we did this right" moments and moused over the "Windows Live Pearl" the little windows logo with a white circle around it on the main page.

And it worked, for the most part. The link took me to the general spaces page, but there was a button on that page to go to my Live space.

Not bad - there should be a link to my personal space. I emailed the spaces guys to see if we can add it :-)

Next I am going to try Windows Live Writer - it is supposed to be pretty cool.

Windows Vista

Windows Vista shipped last week. After 5 years of working on it, I am glad it is out the door. I am most proud of my 2 major features - Windows Meeting Space and Wireless Projection.

For those that haven't seen Windows Meeting Space, there is a good demo here from the guys in the UK. Check it out.

Well, I think that is enough Live Spaces activity today.

Starting Over...

Well, it has been a long time since I have written to my blog. But, a friend keeps bugging me about it, so I figured I would try this out again. My goal is for it to have a technological / media (TV, Movies, Music, etc.) bent.

We'll see if I can actually keep it up.
